Ignition’s goal is to reduce disc waste. Let’s say that you have to burn some data onto CDs for backup purposes, and backing up said data would require four CDs. The burning optimizer Ignition can more efficiently organize the data that needs to be backed up so that it takes only three CDs instead of four.

The setup wizard that helps you install Ignition on your PC provides support for multiple languages. The application itself also provides support for multiple languages. Just click on Settings and you can pick between English, Albanian, French, Italian, Romanian, Spanish, and more.

The files that will be burned are presented as a list in the middle of the interface. The panel to the left allows you to pick one of two project types: Data CD/DVD or Audio CD. And the panel to the right allows you to play with a few settings: pick a media type, add files, add folders, group and ungroup, optimize items to be dispatched.

Ignition’s developer, KC Sofwares, will try to promote two of its own products and a VSO Software product.
First up, it will promote SUMo and KCleaner. After the setup wizard is done installing Ignition, you will notice two shortcuts on your desktop. One is for SUMo, a tool that checks your applications and tells you if any updates are available. The other is for KCleaner, a tool that removes junk files from your machine.
After you start using Ignition, when you click the Burn or Create ISO button, you will be invited to get CopyToDVD, a data burning solution from VSO Software.

Don’t waste discs! Go get Ignition and this burning optimizer will better organize files and help you save space on your media.

Pros

Little time and effort will go into getting Ignition up and running. Support for multiple languages is provided. Support for multiple media types is provided. Group, ungroup, optimize, burn, create ISO. Ignition is freeware (consider making a donation).

Cons

Other software products are promoted.
